Evidentals is a peer-reviewed digital dental journal published in Swedish. The journal provides dental professionals with continuously updated, evidence-based clinical knowledge across all dental specialties. It is operated by Internetmedicin AB under the product Internetodontologi, founded in 2011.

Aims and Scope

The aim of Evidentals is to support clinical decision-making among dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses. The journal publishes concise, specialist-authored overviews on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of dental and oral conditions.

Topics covered include restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontology, periodontology, orofacial medicine and oral pathology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, dental biomaterials, tempomandibular disorders, pedriatric dentistry, oral radiology and preventive dentistry.

Each article is written by a specialist within the relevant field and reviewed by an editorial board of ten leading Swedish odontological experts. The journal targets annual updates to ensure clinical relevance and alignment with current evidence.

Evidentals serves practitioners in daily clinical work and supports dental students during their professional training.

Editorial Standards

All content is subject to specialist review before publication. The editorial board evaluates scientific accuracy, clinical applicability, and consistency with current guidelines and research. Content may be revised between scheduled update cycles when new evidence warrants it.
